Description
Unique full-length in the HOTD discography in that it's almost entirely based around minimal ambient guitar. Rotating sequences of hypnotic melodies and rising waves of harmony are decorated with background acoustics and object manipulation, among other sounds, to bring the listener into the wood-paneled cinder block shack it was recorded in. Dark and mysterious pathology turned beautiful.
Uses the label's raw and minimal aesthetic and is therefore visually atypical for the project but fold-out j-card includes a heavily xerox-degraded piece of HOTD artwork and a manipulated photo of the headless artist. Recorded in 2013, released by Nostilevo.
